I write fiction, memoir, and creative nonfiction — often with humor, usually set in the places that have shaped me, from Morocco to the American Midwest.

I’m currently pursuing an MFA in Fiction Writing at Boise State University (expected 2028). I also hold graduate degrees in Composition and Rhetoric from Eastern Illinois University (MA), where I received the Distinguished Graduate Student Award, and Community Development from Illinois State University (MS). I received a BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
